The Sea Girt Beach is home to several endangered species. The town council in co-operation with the New Jersey Department of Environmental protection has restricted beach access to a small area of the "North Beach" as a protective measure.
Beginning a week before Memorial Day Beach Badges are sold from Sea Girt's brand new pavilion.
The friendly badge checkers are also permitted to sell you a daily badge should you be so inclined.
