The Training Center hosts an Annual Irish Festival in mid-September.
The Boy Scouts of America hold the New Jersey Jamboree on this site and pitch tents that cover most of the nine acers.
During summer and fall the center hosts youth Soccer.
The former post commandant is now the Sea Girt Mayor.
